Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Our School Welcome Barbecue is an opportunity for parents and carers to get to know our school. With the opportunity to attend an information session in the school hall with our Assistant Principals, parents and carers also have the opportunity to visit their child's new classroom and meet their teacher for the year.
Our Stage 3 Leadership Day gives students with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and learn about working together and leading together.
Our Leadership Assembly gives students the opportunity to be acknowledged for their leadership roles, with parents and carers invited to take part in this proud milestone. Join us as we welcome our Year 6 Leaders, House Captains and Vice Captains, and SRC members into their leadership roles for 2025.
Throughout the year, our students experience a wide range of sporting opportunities, including both incursions and excursions that build skills, teamwork and confidence.
Our school celebrates Harmony Day by bringing students together to honour our diverse backgrounds and promote inclusivity and respect.
Our annual sport carnivals give students the opportunity to challenge themselves, build resilience and support their peers. Our Cross Country and Athletics carnivals are held in the middle of the year, and our swimming carnival is held at the end of the year in preparation for the following school year.
Our school commemorates ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day through school services and participation in local marches, allowing students to reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who served.
NAIDOC Week invites our school community to learn, reflect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, strengthened by our ongoing relationships with local communities.
Book Week is celebrated at our school with a range of activities that promote a love of reading, along with our vibrant Book Week Parade where students are invited to dress up as their favourite book characters.
Each year, students in our school choir proudly represent our school at the Shoalhaven Choral Festival, showcasing their talent and love of music.
Trips, excursions and camp offer students hands-on experiences that extend classroom learning while fostering personal growth, independence and positive peer connections.
Our staff are committed to lifelong learning, continually building their expertise through professional development that supports high-quality, inclusive education.
